Coyote Store to reboot season after weekend wind delays
GAIL— Shows planned for The Coyote Store’s eagerly awaited opening weekend were canceled due to“the forecast of extreme weather events,” management posted on March 12—a wise decision, as it turned out, given the many highway accidents throughout West Texas last Friday. The opening concert with Easton Corbin will be rescheduled for a later time.
“We will make announcements and notify ticket buyers of the new show date once it has been determined,”posted owner and manager Becky Justice, who added that“all tickets will be honored at the future date.”Patrons may call (806) 759-9355 for further information.
The date for Asleep at theWheel’s show, with Jody Nix and His Texas Cowboys, has been announced for Friday, June 6.

POST—A new musical, “Jesus, Son of Man,” runs at the Ragtown Gospel Theater in Post from through April 26. The play, a musical, follows the life of Jesus Christ from age 10 through age 30.
Showrunner Chip Polk posted a“Blackstage Pass”on Facebook earlier this week, showing cast and crew rehearsing by flashlight after the theater lost power during last weekend’s widespread outage and show cancellation.

White River Marina to hold Friday night fish frys
WHITE RIVER LAKE—Although White River Marina management had been eagerly anticipating the start of its Friday night fish fry meals and entertainment, March 14 weather forced a postponement.
“Due to dangerously high winds, flickering power we have made the decision to close the Marina,”owners posted on social media, urging patrons to stay home and safe, after initially hoping the event could just move indoors.
By Saturday night the Marina was open again. “Thank you all who came out last night for Fish Fry & Music with All About Alice! Great start to the season! We appreciate u all!” owners posted.
