Valentine’s events this weekend

The Hotel Garza in downtown Post is offering a fun Valentine’s Day weekend event, “Death by Chocolate,” a 1920s murder mystery dinner theater experience. They will be hosting for their guests, a fun-filled evening of “Who Dun It” Friday, Feb. 14. The hotel package includes the Murder Mystery Game, a Champagne reception, formal dinner, a home-cooked breakfast and accommodations in one of their uniquely designed rooms or suites, plus games and quizzes and a top prize for a super sleuth. The Knights of Columbus #8875 in Snyder are hosting what they are calling “The Ultimate Valentine’s Day Dance” on Saturday, Feb. 14 from 8 p.m. to midnight at Our Lady of Guadalupe Center, 1311 Ave. K, Snyder.

Music will be provided by a DJ: G Productions. Admission is open to 16 and up, and there will be a variety of music and door prize drawings every hour.

The Hotel Turkey is having Galentine’s Treat Yo’ Self on Sunday, Feb. 15 featuring brunch at the back patio from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Live music will be provided by Alicia Morgan, and a variety of service vendors will be on hand, including Massages by Beverly, Corrective Aesthetics, Ivy Garden and Tattoos and Piercings with Amber.
