DICKENS COUNTY BURN BAN RESCINDED The ban on outdoor burning in unincorporated areas of Dickens County that went into effect Aug. 14, 2024, has been lifted as of Nov. 5, 2024, per County Judge Kevin Brendle.

KENT COUNTY LIONS CLUB is partnering with the Bruce Long Food Pantry to ensure that holiday boxes are available for all their families. A $30 gift purchases a holiday box, but any donation amount is appreciated. The Lions Club will be accepting cash donations to the food pantry. These donations can be given to treasurer, Christy Long, at the Kent County Courthouse (or to any Lions club member).
