SOUTH PLAINS ELECTRIC COOPERATIVE announces its Operation Round Up Teacher Mini-Grant. Applications are open with a deadline on Friday, May 16. DICKENS COUNTY PUBLIC MARKET Saturday, April 19, 10 a.m.–4 p.m., Rickles Park, weather permitting; if it rains, we will be at the Senior Center, 210 Burlington Ave. Vendors will be notified by Wednesday, April 16, if market is moved to the Senior Center.
SAVE THE DATE Garza County Animal Hospital and Dr. Wink are offering low-cost and convenient animal vaccination and microchip clinics. They will be in Crosbyton Saturday, April 19, 9 a.m.–noon, at the fire department, 121 S. Ayrshire Ave. All dogs must be leashed and cats contained in a crate. You do not have to live in the county to take advantage of this opportunity. Microchips will be free.
