SOUTH PLAINS ELECTRIC COOPERATIVE announces its Operation Round Up Teacher Mini-Grant. Applications are open with a deadline on Friday, May 16. DICKENS COUNTY 4-H is hosting its second annual Community Easter Egg Hunt, Saturday, April 19, Dickens County Courthouse lawn. The following schedule will be observed: 10 a.m. for 3 and under; 10:15 a.m. for ages 4 and kindergarten students; 10:30 a.m. for 1st –2nd grade students; 10:45 a.m. for 3rd–5th grade students.

SAVE THE DATE Garza County Animal Hospital and Dr. Wink are offering low-cost and convenient animal vaccination and microchip clinics. They will be in Crosbyton Saturday, April 19, 9 a.m.–noon, at the fire department, 121 S. Ayrshire Ave. All dogs must be leashed and cats contained in a crate. You do not have to live in the county to take advantage of this opportunity. Microchips will be free.
