DICKENS COUNTY-SPUR LIBRARY story time, Thursdays, 10 a.m., for babies to pre-school, 403 E. Hill St., Spur

KENT COUNTY LIBRARY is hosting Summer Yoga, Wednesdays through Aug. 6, at the library, 156 W. 4th St., Jayton. Ages 5–9 meet 10–10:30 a.m.; ages 10–17 meet 10:30–11 a.m.

SPUR CITY POOL will offer water aerobics, Tuesdays in June and July, 6:15 p.m. All ages 15 and up welcome. Pool season pass holders’cost is $5 per class; $8 per class for non-season pass holders.

SPUR GOLF ASSOCIATION Scramble season, Tuesdays, teeing off at the Spur Golf Course, 5:30 p.m. Entry fee $10.

SPUR GOLF COURSE will host the 11th Annual Junior Class Golf Tournament, Saturday, June 14, 8 a.m. registration and tee time at 9 a.m. The four-person scramble benefits the Spur High School Class of 2026. DICKENS COUNTY 4-H AND AGRILIFE EXTENSION will host horse playdays on Saturday, June 14, and July 19, Dickens Arena. Books open at 8 a.m., leadline at 8:30 a.m., and start at 9 a.m.

Age Divisions include Leadline, PeeWee, Junior and Senior.

DICKENS COUNTY-SPUR LIBRARY will be the host site for A Lunch Experience with the Family and Youth Success Program of Catholic Charities of Lubbock, Thursday, June 5, noon, 403 East Hill St., Spur. The luncheon and activities are designed to strengthen family bonds. Feel free to come by yourself or bring your kids in this opportunity to invest in your family.
