Crosby County 4-H will be hosting the 2nd Annual White River Shootout and Family Fun Day on Saturday, July 6 from 7:30 a.m.to 2 p.m.
The event will be held at the Pavilion, which is located past Campground 2 on the east side of White River Lake.
Organizers will have a main trap field set up and two practice trap fields set up. Giant Jenga, Corn Hole and other games will be set up for children and those who are not shooting.
The cost to shoot is $50 per person and includes a meal. The event this year is all you can eat and all you can shoot, and all the games are free. Those who are not shooting can eat for $20, unlimited per person.
Registration begins at 7:30 a.m., and event planners will keep rotating trap and knockout at shooters’ requests until there are no more shooters on the line
Shooters must be eight years of age or older; no shot larger than 7 ½ is allowed. No alcohol or fireworks are allowed.
Participants should enter White River Lake from the east entrance and continue straight on West Road to the Pavilion (approximately two miles).
