Tuesday Scramble Recap,

We had 32 players show up to play in our weekly Tuesday Scramble.
First place went to the team of—guess who?—Jimmy & Jared Ashley, Andy Hale and Freddy Gonzalez with a score of 31 (5 under par).
Second place was claimed by Todd Bezner, Carter, James Hughes and Kathy Hughes with a 32 (4 under par).
Third place went to the team of Jason and Amy Tanner, Zach Loudermilk and Brandon McBroom with a solid 33 (3 under par). Great rounds by everyone!
Closest to the pin on #8 was won by Jack Marshall with 11’7” from the hole, and Austin Moreno hit the green on #1 for the prized envelope.
Our next Tuesday Scramble is scheduled for July 1—come out and play a round with some great folks! If you’re not aware of the format, please arrive as close to 5 p.m. as possible; we put your name on the list and draw random numbers to form teams, and it’s only $10 to enter.
Association awards scholarships. We would like to congratulate the two Spur High School seniors who received the Spur Golf Association Scholarship this year. JD Hamilton and Mikayla Baeza were each awarded $500 for their future education expenses. Congrats JD & Mikayla!
Upcoming tournament, July 26. Mark your calendars! The Fat Daddy’s 3-Man Scramble is set for Saturday, July 26. Entry fee is $150 per team; registration is 8:30 a.m., with a shotgun start at 9:30 a.m. To sign up, contact Jimmy Ashley at (806) 781-8593. We hope to see you there!
