June 11 scramble results. What a perfect and beautiful evening we had for Scramble Time Tuesday! After the rains we received last week and the sunshine afterward, I don’t know that it could have been any more amazing! We had 44 people come out to scramble and nine teams were formed.

Claiming the 1st place winnings for the week was the team of Reid Arnold, Betsy Knox Arnold, Dana Conrad, and Russell Conrad and Daniel Perez with 4 under par and a score of 32. Way to play, team!

Returning to the clubhouse at 3 under par and a score of 33 was the team of Tyler Luke, Aubrey Luke, Shane Parsons, Charla Parsons and Robert Daugherty. They took home the 2nd-place money for the week.

The teams of Karsen Taylor, Kayden Taylor, Donald Taylor Jr., Austin Moreno and Jimmy Ashley and the team of James Hughes, Kathy Atkinson Hughes, Alejandro Diaz, Floyd Starkey and Sue Starkey came in after the round tied at 2 under par and a score of 34. The teams agreed to playoff to break the tie starting on the No. 1 hole, wherein they both tied again with a par. It was determined the teams would carry on with a chip off. Jimmy Ashley had the winning chip for that team to take home the 3rd-place dollars for the week.

Congratulations go to Shane Shobert, who planted his drive on the No. 8 hole at 10 feet 4 ½ inches from the cup to take home that money pot for the week. Way to go, Shane!

Again, no one landed a drive on the No. 1 Hole so that pot continues to grow. When someone does land a drive, it is going to be a nice little bonus for them since that thing has been rolling over for several weeks now.

I hope you all have a very blessed rest of your week. Make it count!
