Helping the community.
The club collected over 50 cans for the Spur Food Bank in the “Souper Bowl of Caring” sponsored by Tackle Hunger.org. Members made and donated 35 valentine pillows and paper plate valentines to the Matador Health and Rehab Center.
Competition results.
Calvin Hays Chapman received first place at the Fort Worth Stock Show with his Charolais heifer, “Provo.”
The Junior team of Calvin Hays Chapman, Maddee Foster, Henry Chapman and Rylee Foster secured second place at the San Angelo Stock Show Agricultural Product Identification contest. Their individual rankings were CalvinHays 4th, Maddee 7th, Henry 10th and Rylee 11th.
Diezel Ramirez placed fifth in the senior age group as an individual.
In the San Angelo Stock Show Intermediate Equine Skill-a-Thon, Paisley Smith ranked fourth, Maddee Foster 14th and Hallie Irons 16th.
For the San Angelo Stock Show Meat Judging competition, CalvinHays Chapman achieved 14th place, and Henry Chapman 21st. There are no separate age groups in this contest; all ages compete against each other.
