Lynndee Foster, Jaydee Foster, Mackenzie Gardner and Bucki Smith represented Dickens County 4-H Club at the 2018 Texas State Horse Show held July 22–28 at the Taylor County Coliseum in Abilene. They participated in numerous events, such as Stock Horse Pleasure, Cow Boxing, Stock Horse Trail and Cutting, just to name a few.
Bucki Smith brought home the Reserve All Around and High Point Paint Horse titles, as well as placing 1st in Stock Horse Showmanship and Reining, and taking 2nd in Cutting-Junior Division and Cow Boxing-Junior Division. In addition, District 3 brought home the win as High Point District.
