Tuesday Scramble Recap, July 15: We had 40 players show up to play and were able to form eight teams.
1st Place went to the team of Jimmy Ashley, Jared Ashley, Freddie Gonzalez, John Lehman and Tra Howell with a score of 30 (6 under).
2nd Place was claimed by Sheldon Burchett, Tye Scoggins, Jason Tanner, Amy Tanner and Bandy Moeller with a score of 31 (5 under).
3rd Place went to the team of Eddie Clark, Kevin Bass, Brian Beaty, Stephanie Beaty and Zach Lowdermilk with a score of 32 (4 under).
Closest to the pin on #8 was won by Daniel Perez with 1’-11” from the hole. No one hit the green on #1, so prize money rolls to next week. Our next Tuesday Scramble is scheduled for July 22.
Upcoming Tournaments, July 26 and September 13: The Fat Daddy’s 3-Man Scramble is set for Saturday, July 26. Entry fee is $150 per team. Registration starts at 8:30 a.m., with a shotgun start 9:30 a.m. To sign up, contact Jimmy Ashley at (806) 781-8593.
We will also have a benefit tournament for the Spur Volunteer Fire Department on Saturday September 13. This will be a 4-Person tournament, $400 per team, with a shotgun start at 9:00 a.m. Lunch will be included.
