Lake Alan Henry
GOOD. Water clear; 83 degrees; 0.21 feet below pool. Anticipate increased recreational boater traffic. With the hot days the best fishing is at night under green lights. Crappie are good in 25-35 feet of water on minnows. The crappie dock has been repaired, but there are no lights. Report by The Bait Shop, Post, Texas.
Greenbelt
FAIR. Water normal stain; 80 degrees; 47.42 feet below pool. Anticipate increased recreational boater traffic for the Fourth of July holiday weekend. Crappie are in standing timber. Sand bass are good. Catfish are good on minnows and worms. Largemouth bass are good.
Stamford Lake
SLOW. Water stained; 85 degrees; 0.38 feet above pool. Anticipate increased recreational boater traffic for the Fourth of July holiday weekend. The water is starting to stabilize and clear. Bass bite is improving to fair to good on soft plastics. Reports of noodling for flathead catfish. Channel and blue catfish are fair to good.
Sweetwater Lake
Water off color; 78–86 degrees; 26.29’ low. This lake is currently experiencing a fish kill due to golden alga. Biologists are monitoring the situation and will post updates as they become available.
White River Lake
FAIR. Water normal stain; 82 degrees; 30.76 feet below pool. Anticipate increased recreational boater traffic for the Fourth of July holiday weekend. Catfish are good. Crappie are good on minnows. Largemouth bass are biting in deeper water on soft plastics.
