Lake Alan Henry
Water clear main lake and 58 degrees, stained up the river and 62 degrees; 5.87' low. Black bass good on Texas rigged Power Worms, shakyheads, jigs, spinnerbaits and crankbaits. Crappie are good on jigs and live minnows. Catfish are fair on minnows and punch bait.
Lake Colorado City
Water fairly clear; 59–67 degrees; 12.85' low. Black bass are fair on Texas rigs and weightless soft plastics. Catfish are fair to good on nightcrawlers and cut bait.
Sweetwater Lake
Water stained; 57–68 degrees; 0.15' high. This lake is currently experiencing a fish kill due to golden alga. Biologists are monitoring the situation and will post updates as they become available. Fish populations have been substantially reduced by the golden alga blooms.
White River Lake
Water stained; 55–67 degrees; 23.58' low. Black bass are fair to good on Texas rigs and shallow running crankbaits. Crappie are fair to good on live minnows. Catfish are good on cut and live bait.
*To prevent the spread of zebra mussels, the law requires draining of water from boats and onboard receptacles when leaving or approaching public fresh waters.
