Lake Alan Henry
Water clear main lake and 63 degrees, stained up the river and 70 degrees; 2.22' low. Black bass are good on topwaters and fair on Texas rigged Power Worms and Z–Man TRDs. Crappie bite is improving. Catfishing is good upriver on cut bait.
Lake Colorado City
Water fairly clear; 59–67 degrees; 12.77' low. Black bass are fair to good on green pumpkin finesse jigs, white chatterbaits and 5" green pumpkin Senkos. Catfish are fair to good on night-crawlers and cut bait.
Lake Sweetwater
Water stained; 57–68 degrees; 0.26' high. This lake is currently experiencing a fish kill due to golden alga. Biologists are monitoring the situation and will post updates as they become available. Fish populations have been substantially reduced by the golden alga blooms.
White River Lake
Water stained; 55–67 degrees; 22.57' low. Black bass are fair to good on Texas rigged 7" black/blue fleck Power Worms, chrome Rat–L–Traps and finesse jigs. Crappie are fair to good on split shot rigged live minnows. Catfish are good live or dead minnows.
*To prevent the spread of zebra mussels, the law requires draining of water from boats and onboard receptacles when leaving or approaching public fresh waters.
