JAYTON ALUM The USA beat Canada 65-44 in the 26th Can-Am Bowl for six-man football. Jayton’s Justin Collins had a long catch and a run for the USA. The game was played in Wyoming. Other area athletes on Team USA were Quay Hodges of Happy, Texas, and Haiden Thompson of Miami, Texas. Former Wellman-Union and Lubbock Harmony Coach Tommy Tritz was an assistant coach for Team USA.
