Jayton earns honors at the State FFA Convention last week

    At the Texas FFA State Convention in Fort Worth last week, when the Agriscience Fair results were announced, for the third year in a row Jayton qualified for Nationals.

    In Animal Science: Division 6, Colt Gentry and Jace Chisum were State Champions and National Qualifiers.

    In Social systems: Division 3, Kirby Miller was 3rd place State Winner.

    In Environmental Science: Division 6, Reese Redford and Sidney Hall were 4th Place State Winners.

    In the state convention, Jayton competes against all classifications of schools, including much larger school districts such as Stephenville and Lubbock Cooper.
