Kangaroos thump Rangers in final game of 2018

The Patton Springs Rangers faced off at their own house this past Friday, Nov. 9 against the Kress Kangaroos for what would be the last game of the season for both teams. The Kangaroos came out firing in the first quarter, completing 2 touchdown receptions and rushing for a 45-yard touchdown. The Rangers came fighting back with an answer from junior Kyle Davis as freshman quarterback Ralph Garza hit him for a 37-yard touchdown reception. In the second quarter the Kangaroos racked up another 2 touchdowns, looking to shut down the Rangers by the half. The Rangers held their own and found another answer in senior Leon Quilimaco for a 23-yard touchdown reception. The Kangaroos ended it early in the fourth quarter with the final score of 60-14 over the Rangers. The Rangers now look forward to basketball season.
