Tuesday 04/23/24 Scramble Results!
We had a really good turnout for last week’s Tuesday Scramble. There were enough participants to form seven teams.
Returning to the clubhouse with a score of 31 to take home the 1st place winnings was the team of Landon White, Jimmy Ashley, Damien Salas and Brandon McBroom. Coming back to the clubhouse tied with a score of 33, were the teams of Donald Taylor Jr., Austin Moreno, Justin Posey, Dana Conrad and Robin Shuck and the team of Tra Howell, Gene Everheart, Cammie Day Walker, Justin Buck and Sheldon Burchett. The teams decided to have a playoff for the 2nd and 3rd place winnings. The team of Donald Taylor Jr., Austin Moreno, Justin Posey, Dana Conrad and Robin Shuck took home 2nd place bragging rights and money.
Congratulations go to Jimmy Ashley, who landed his drive 7 feet 9 inches from the hole on No. 1. The money pot for the Hole No. One contest will start over and grow until someone lands their drive on the green again. Dana Conrad landed her drive on 9 feet 2 inches from the hole on No. 8 to claim that money pot. Congratulations, Dana!
SGA Annual Raffle.
Have you bought your tickets yet? Tickets are available for purchase for our annual raffle for some really great prizes. The tickets are $25 each or 5 for $100 and they may be purchased from any SGA Board member. The drawing will be held on Sunday, June 2nd between the morning and afternoon rounds of the Hackers’ Tournament (at approximately 12:30 p.m.) You do not have to be present to win.
Mixed gender 3-person tournament.
The next tournament on the SGA schedule is a Mixed Gender 3-person on May 11 and 12. Your team can consist of 2 males and 1 female, 2 females and one male. You just have to have at least one player of the opposite sex.
