REGIONAL UIL HONORS

REGIONAL UIL HONORS Jayton High School was the overall regional Speech team champion at last week’s regional UIL academic meet. Honors went to Dayton Bleiker, 1st place in Persuasive Speaking and a State qualifier; Cooper Spray, 2nd place and a State qualifier; Lexi Long, 5th place in Informative Speaking and Colt Gentry, 2nd place and a State qualifier; and Kyndrey Branum, 5th place. FIRST PLACE Congratulations go to Jayton’s 1st-place accounting team at the UIL regional meet. They are headed to State. Abigail Mosley took 1st place with a perfect score, Kodah Tagle took 2nd place, Jace Chisum placed 3rd and Tucker Scott finished in 4th.
