Seven players from the Jayton Jaybirds
2018 football team were recently named to the All-State Team for 1A Division 2 Region 2 by the Texas 6-Man Coaches Association. It is notable that the team finished its season 13-4-0 with a ranking of 9 in its state division, but stands to lose only two seniors among those to receive this year’s top honors.
