Tuesday Scramble Recap, July 8
We had 36 players show up to play after the rain showers moved out.
1st place went to the team of Brandon McBroom, Andy Daughtry, Robert Daughtry and Daniel Perez with a score of 30 (6 under) 2nd place was claimed by Bryan Beaty, Stephanie Beaty, Jimmy Ashley and Jared Ashley with a score of 31 (5 under) 3rd Place went to the team of Gene Everheart, Russell Conrad, Dana Conrad and Andrew Bateman with a score of 33 (3 under) Closest to the pin on #8 was won by Robert Daughtry with 25’-2 ½” from the hole. No one hit the green on #1, so prize money rolls to next week. Our next Tuesday Scramble is scheduled for July 15.
Course & Board Updates
Wes Joplin has been appointed by the Board to replace Ron Young until our next member meeting and board election in October.
Upcoming Tournament, July 26
The Fat Daddy’s 3-Man Scramble is set for Saturday, July 26. Entry fee is $150 per team, Registration begins at 8:30 a.m., with a shotgun start at 9:30 a.m. To sign up, contact Jimmy Ashley at (806) 781-8593. We will also have a benefit tournament for the Spur Volunteer Fire Department on Saturday September 13, more details to come.
