We had a great turnout for last week’s Tuesday Scramble. There were 30 players, who were divided up to form seven teams.
Coming into the clubhouse with a score of 29 was the team of Ben Greene, Jason Tanner, Ralph Fausto and Wes Joplin.
After a playoff for 2nd and 3rd place, the team of Tyler Luke, Aubrey Luke and Oscar Frausto and Chelsea Frausto prevailed to take home the 2nd place winnings. The team of Shane Shobert, Lisa Shobert, Kayla Bateman and Landon Hinson claimed the 3rd place winnings.
Congratulations to Ralph Frausto, whose drive landed on No. 1 14 feet 10 inches from the hole. The money pot for the Hole No. 1 contest will start over and grow until someone lands their drive on the green again.
Aubrey Luke was the winner on No. 8, with her drive landing 15 feet from the hole. Way to go, Aubrey!
The scrambles are a lot of fun. There is no pressure and it is a good way to get to know others in our community. It is also a good way to relieve some of your work-week stress. The scrambles tee off each week at 5:30 p.m. and the cost to participate is $10. Come out and join in on the fun!
SGA Annual Raffle.
Tickets are available for purchase for our annual raffle for some really great prizes! The tickets are $25 each or 5 for $100. The drawing will be held on Sunday, June 2 between the morning and afternoon rounds of the Hackers’ Tournament (at approximately 12:30 p.m.). Need not be present to win.
