Spur JV played Ira on Thursday, Sept. 5 at Jones Stadium in Spur. It was a beautiful night for football. Although Spur did not come out on top, they played a great game.
The Spur Bulldogs #12 Willie Ortiz was able to score once for the Bulldogs in the four quarters. The Spur JV Bulldogs made some great tackles and continue to show improvements. With every rep and on the field experience, the Spur JV will improve.
Coach Craig Hamilton stated, “We came up short against Ira, but I am proud of some of the areas that they are growing. They continue to work hard, and I expect great things from them in the future.”
The Spur JV will play in Aspermont on Thursday, September 12, 2024, following the first Spur Junior High game. JH will begin at 5:00 p.m..
