The Spur junior varisty football team traveled to Matador last Thursday, Sept. 19, 2024. The Bulldogs won 35-12.
#28 Brandon Williams threw two touchdowns during the game: one to #22 Charlie Alderman and another to #11 Levi Dietz. The Bulldogs played a great defensive and offensive game that showed great improvements. #9 Jaxon Bateman also scored, as did #12 Willie Ortiz. The team played well together to come out on top for their second win of the season.
“The boys bounced back from struggling during last week’s game against a good program,” Coach Hamilton said. “I am proud of them.”
JV is in the process of finding a game for week 5.
