Tuesday Scramble Recap, August 5.
We had a great turn out for the evening, our last Tuesday evening scramble before everyone starts “scrambling” back to school! We hope everyone in Spur and surrounding schools have a great school year!
1st place went to the team of Daniel Perez, Andy Hale, Floyd Starkey and Sue Starkey with a score of 28 (8 under), with two eagles on #1 and #9…wow, that’s some great golf!
2nd place was claimed by Jimmy Ashley and Jared Ashley, Thomas Darr and Caleb Herzog with a score of 31 (5 under).
3rd place went to the team of Mike Day, Janie Day, James Hughes and Kathy Hughes with a score of 33 (3 under).
Closest to the pin on #8 was Daniel Perez with 17’7”, and no one hit the green on #1 so prize money rolls to next week. Our next Tuesday Scramble is scheduled for August 12.
Upcoming Tournament September 13.
The Spur Volunteer Fire Department Benefit Tournament is on Saturday September 13. It is a 4-person tournament, $400 per team, with a shotgun start at 9:00 a.m. Lunch will be included.
