SCRAMBLE RESULTS AUGUST 10 I think last week’s Scramble Time Tuesday may need to have been renamed “Sweat Fest Scramble”! It was most definitely a hot one!
25 people showed up to participate and five teams were formed.
Returning to the clubhouse after the round at 5 under par and a score of 31 was the team of Brandon McBroom, Floyd Starkey, Woodrow Stiewert, Jason Tanner and Don Kanenski; and the team of Mike Day, Janie Day, Kathy Hughes, James Hughes and Landon White. It was decided among the teams that a playoff would need to take place on Hole No. 1.
The McBroom team won the play off and took home the 1st-place winnings for the week. The Day Team took home the 2nd-place money.
The team of Gene Everheart, Wes Joplin, Preston Abbott, Zach Loudermilk and Justin Posey got to claim the 3rd-place money and bragging rights for the week with 4 under par and a score of 32.
Congratulations to Landon White for landing his drive on the No. 8 Hole at 8 feet 3 inches from the cup! Way to plant that drive, Landon!
No one landed a drive on the No. 1 green last week so that money pot will roll and grow!

The date for the SGA Club Championship and Annual meeting has been set for Saturday, September 28. Tee off be at 1 p.m. and is free to all members. The Annual meeting will take place following the round at approximately 5:30 p.m. A meal will be provided. The noard member spots of Betsy Arnold, Tyler Luke and Jason Tanner are up for election. Nominations and voting by written ballot will take place at the meeting. Nomination forms will not be mailed out. The term for the new noard members will be two years.
