Tuesday Scramble Recap, July 22: We had 60 players show up to play and were able to form twenty teams.
1st Place went to the team of Jimmy Ashley, Jared Ashley, Brian Beaty, Stephanie Beaty and Caleb Herzog with a score of 31 (5 under).
There was a four-way tie for second place; teams proceeded to play off on hole #1, remained tied, so then moved to a chip off with the following results: 2nd Place was claimed by Chance Bingham, Rylan Bingham, Wes Joplin, Justin Posey and Andy Daughtry with a score of 32 (4 under).
3rd Place went to the team of Tye Scoggins, Bode Ham, Whitney Bingham, Daniel Perez and John Lehmann with a score of 32 (4 under).
Closest to the pin on #8 wanted to remain anonymous, and no one hit the green on #1, so prize money rolls to next week. Our next Tuesday Scramble is scheduled for July 29.
Fat Daddy’s Results:
Our annual Fat Daddy’s tournament was held Saturday July 26 and we had a great turn out with 20 teams. The Championship Flight was won by Wes Joplin, Tyler Luke and Riley Abbott (team in the photo) with a score of 59, 2nd place was won by Mike Day, James Hughes and Donald Bland with a score of 62, and 3rd place with a score of 63 was won by Tate Clark, Seth McMinn and Jeremy Jones.
First Flight: 1st place went to the team of Jimmy Ashley, Jared Ashley and Terry Lee with a score of 62, there was a tie for 2nd place with the teams of Floyd Starkey, Dustin Fincher and Daniel Perez and the team of Freddie Miranda, Joe Morales and Nathan Jones both with a score of 63, teams split the winnings.
Second Flight: 1st place went to the team of Shane Shobert, Alejandro Diaz and Clayt Bridge with a score of 69, 2nd place was a tie between the teams of Andrew Bateman, Robert Lanford and Brandon McBroom and the team of Russell Marshall, Jack Marshall and Jeremy Porter with a score of 72, also splitting the winnings.
Upcoming Tournament September 13. The Spur Volunteer Fire Department Benefit Tournament is on Saturday September 13. It is a four-person tournament, $400 per team, with a shotgun start at 9:00 a.m. Lunch will be included.
