1st place, with a score of 7 under (29), was claimed by the team of Jimmy and Jared Ashley, Daniel Perez, Colton Rogers and Duke Hill.
2nd place, with a score of 4 under (32), was won by a playoff on Hole #1 and went to the team of Shane Parsons, Ethan Parsons and Charla Parsons, Bobby Condron, and Gene Solis.
3rd place, with a score of 4 under (32), went to Shane and Lisa Shobert, and Jhett and Brooke Reese.
Closest to the pin on the #8 hole was Shane Shobert, with 8 feet 8 inches.
A shoutout from the week of May 27 goes to Brooke Reese, closest to the pin with 6 feet 6 inches! Thanks to everyone who came out to play. A “cold front” breezed in around 7:15 p.m. with some wind and cooler temps, but our tough golfers handled it like champs!
The scramble for Tuesday, June 10, was tentative at press time for this issue, pending weather.
Our next tournament is this Saturday, June 14—a fundraiser for the Spur High School Junior Class. This is always a fun one to support our kids! Registration for the 4-person scramble is $160 per team; registration is 8 a.m. and tee time is 9 a.m., with breakfast and lunch provided.
