Spur library opens special space for youngsters

What a wonderful day we had at the library! Our ribbon cutting for the new Children’s Play Space was a beautiful celebration of community, generosity, and the joy of creating something special for our youngest patrons.

Spur’s Red Mud Cemetery workday and reunion slated for June 6

As sexton of the historic Red Mud Cemetery in the southern part of Dickens County conveyed to longtime participants in the cemetery association, “We have a true 6th of June this year so the cemetery workday will be Saturday, June 6th, 2026.
