Jayton man wanted to meet teen for sex in Lubbock, sentenced to federal prison

CAITLYN ROONEY, KAMC LUBBOCK— A Jayton man who was caught in an online undercover sting back in 2023, Cody Dean Sullivan, 34, was sentenced to six and a half years in federal prison for Attempted Transfer of Obscene Material to a Minor, according to court records.

Love persevering

The past week a mother sat vigil for her 36-yearold son, an unfortunate victim of sepsis that invaded his body while he was receiving cancer treatment. Much like a hired assassin, it did its dirty work, packed up, and left behind a brokenhearted family. Death does win. Death does sting.
