I’ve baked many styles of cakes but have been very curious about this particular one. The Brittany region in France is well known across Europe for their superb butter. They use a very old technique of pressing the water from the butter as it is formed from the cream.

Patton Springs ISD approves In-Trust bids at April meeting

At the regular meeting of the Patton Springs Independent School District board of trustees on Monday, April 19 there was an open forum speaker and a guest, Christina Chandler, who spoke concerning facility maintenance needs, supplies and possible upgrades.

Registration period extended to May 20 for Texans applying for post-winter storm federal aid

The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) has extended the Individual Assistance registration period for Texans impacted by the winter storm. According to Governor Greg Abbott, the extension comes at the request of the state and encompasses all 254 counties.

Spur City Council: Consultants recap Spur water/sewer grant status; mus resurvey neighborhood

Consultants Kay Howard and Jan Torres, who are part of the Public Management team contracted by the City of Spur to assist with grant seeking and processing, were on hand at last week’s regular city council meeting April 20, 2021, to recap the city’s current grant for water and sewer infrastructure.
