The 102nd Annual Motley-Dickens Old Settlers Reunion and Rodeo is coming together for August 28–30, 2025 in Roaring Springs. Old Settlers organizers invite businesses, organizations, families and individuals to sign up to participate in the parade, which will be Saturday, Aug. 30, 2025 at 10 a.m.

A DODGE RAM PICKUP TRUCK veered off Highway 70 northbound in Spur Monday morning and collided with the front porch of the Taylor residence at the corner of Hill Street and Carroll Avenue.
