Jaybirds soar high to clinch district

Credit Patton Springs for playing hard Thursday night in Jayton, but the Jaybirds just had more firepower as they 45’d the Rangers 56-0 at halftime. Credit the Jaybirds for overcoming what could have been a week of distractions and staying focused to get the job done.

Birds fly high over Rangers in last district game

The Patton Springs Rangers traveled to Jayton last Thursday for what would be the last district game of the season. The Jaybirds started the game off strong, coming in with back to back consecutive touchdown’s and putting them at a 14-0 lead early in the first.

Bulldogs clinch playoff position

their last home game of the 2022 season Friday night. They lost a hard-fought game against the Knox City Greyhounds, but the Bulldogs’ season isn’t over. Spur placed second in the district and will be entering the playoffs. The final score was 8–32.

Spur 2-0 in District play after win over Northside

Spur traveled to Vernon Northside last Friday night to play their second in-district game. The Bulldogs came out on top, ending the game early with a score of 588. This makes Spur 2-0 in district, with one game to complete the season.

Rangers lose out to Matadors

The Patton Springs Rangers faced off against the Motley County Matadors this week on their own home turf for what would be their 3rd District game of the season. The Rangers, celebrating their Senior night, came hungry for a fight.
