Ronda Dalton of Dickens County 4-H was awarded the Salute To Excellence Award from Texas 4-H Youth Development Program at Texas 4-H Round Up on Wednesday, June 4, 2025. This award recognizes 4-H volunteers for their service to the 4-H program. Each district may select two recipients each year.

At the annual 4-H Round Up, Dickens 4-H members Diezel Ramirez and Lynndee Foster were each recognized with $20,000 scholarships. Ramirez was recognized with the prestigious $20,000 Houston Scholarship. This remarkable award highlights his hard work, commitment and excellence within the 4-H program.
