Spurette XC team qualifies for regionals

The Spurette cross country team may only consist of five, but they are ready to compete as a team for the Regional meet on October 23, 2023 at Mae Simmons Park in Lubbock. Last Wednesday, the Spurettes competed as a team for the third time this season.

Spur brings home the gold at Muleshoe debate tourney

Team of Hamilton, Ortiz set school record with a perfect score in 3rd round On Saturday October 7, one of Spur’s debate teams competed in a meet held in Muleshoe. The meet involved nine teams in total, representing 1A up to 6A in classification.

SGA club championship to be held Oct. 14; annual meeting to follow

The Spur Golf Association Club Championship will be held on Saturday, Oct. 14. Please come join us for a fun after-noon of golf. Tee-off will be at 1 p.m., with no charge for members. The annual member meeting will take place following the Club Championship at approximately 5:30 p.m.

Spur forfeits in Wellman Oct. 6

The Spur Bulldogs played Wellman-Union last Friday, Oct. 6, in Wellman. Both teams executed great defensive and offensive games, leaving the score evened up at 6–6 at the end of the first quarter. JD Hamilton returned a 47-yard kickoff to put the points on the board.
