Spur begins district play

SPUR YEARBOOK STAFF Last Friday, Oct. 20, Spur traveled to Valley to begin district play. The Bulldogs, still short on diversity, showed up prepared for the beginning of the 2023 District Games. Valley came out on top, 53–0.

• The Bronze Star (outstanding Junior members) must complete a record book, be in 4-H for at least two years, complete three projects. and be actively involved in community service and leadership that is appropriate to their age.

Jaybirds defeat Guthrie, set sights on Motley County for district championship

The Jayton Jaybirds flew into Guthrie Friday night and once again wrapped things up at the half, defeating the Guthrie Jaguars 52-0. “Offensively I thought it was a good game,” said head coach Josh Stanaland.
