Spur’s St. Mary’s says farewell to Father Jegan

Rev. Jeganathan Arulsamy, known to the local St. Mary’s Catholic parishioners as “Father Jegan,” oversaw his last mass in Spur this past Sunday. He will now be the priest for St. Philip Benizi in Idalou and San Lorenzo in Lorenzo.

Western Texas College to host 2025 College Fair Sept. 18

SNYDER— Western Texas College invites area students, families, and community members to explore their futures at the 2025 Western Texas College Fair on Thursday, Sept. 18, from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. in the WTC Gym/HPE, Building 7.

Now that large construction projects such as Galaxy Digital’s Helios phase 2 in northern Dickens County are ramping up— at the same time hunting seasons are rolling in—anecdotal evidence shows an increasing demand for RV rental spaces.
