The Spur Senior Citizens Center, located at 210 Burlington Ave., serves a noon meal Tuesday through Thursday. The dining room is open, or if you feel more comfortable, we offer a curbside lunch you can reserve by calling (806) 271-4472. A donation is always appreciated.

The number one movie in U.S. box office returns for 2025 to date, “A Minecraft Movie,” will be showing at The Palace Theater in downtown Spur. Saturday, Aug. 9—thanks to the sponsorship of Dickens County’s own Galaxy Digital AI data center. The box office opens at 6:30 p.m.
