Graveside services for Bernice Ray Goodall, 89, were held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, March 28, at the Girard Cemetery in Kent County. A memorial service will be planned for a later date. Goodall passed away at home on Wednesday, March 25, 2020.

Joel Shawn Hart, 1939–2020

Joel Shawn Hart, 48, of Dickens passed away at home, surrounded by family, on March 23, 2020. Shawn was born June 15, 1971, to Thomas and Marilyn (Adcock) Hart in Lubbock, Texas. He was a 1989 graduate of Shallowater High School. He married Amy Marshall on November 11, 1989, in Spur.

Patsy Williams Hagar, 1939–2020

Patsy Williams Hagar, age 80, passed away March 18, 2020, in Centerville, Tennessee. She was born December 29, 1939, in Spur. Texas to dad B. T. Williams, and mother and step-dad LaVera and Delton Roberts. Patsy was a 1958 Spur High School graduate and later married Pete Hagar of Jayton, Texas.

Thelma Eulene Cardwell Wyatt, 1932–2020

Thelma Wyatt, 87, of Spur, Texas, and Kingsport, Tennessee, died Sunday morning, March, 15, 2020 , after rapid onset of dementia/Alzheimer’s.

Bug Moore, 1952-2020

Bug Moore passed away peacefully in his sleep on March 7, 2020, at the age of 67. Born October 8,1952, Bug was a Spur graduate class of 1971. He was a lifelong cowboy, welder and fence builder. Bug is preceded in death by his parents, Delwin and Jean Moore of Spur.

Peggy Jolene Waddell, 1932-2020

A Celebration of Life will be held for Peggy Jolene Waddell on Saturday, March 14, 2020, at the Community Bible Chapel at 2:00 p.m. Peggy passed away on March 8, 2020, in Lubbock, Texas. She was born in Dickens County to Joe Martin Kidd and Pauline Ann [Turner] Kidd, on August 2o, 1932.

Norman Earl Hahn, 1931-2020

Norman Earl Hahn, one of the last “white hat cowboys,” did not die with his boots on, but passed quietly in his own bed on March 4,2020. Elwanda O’Keefe Hahn, his spouse of almost 7o years, was by his side. Norman died where he lived for most of his life, in Jayton, Texas. He was 88.

Ruth Ann “Ruthie” Ryan, 81, of Midland passed away on Monday, February 24, 2020, at Midland Memorial Hospital. Ruthie was born on November 28, 1938, to Georgia and David McAteer in Spur, Texas, where she was raised and grew up on a farm.

Katina “Tina” Zoe Roberts, 1972–2020

Katina “Tina” Zoe Roberts, 47, of Spur passed away Thursday, Feb. 20, 2020, in Lubbock, Texas. Tina was born October 16, 1972, in Morton, Texas, to Sonny and Gail Jackson Tilley. She was a 1991 graduate of Patton Springs High School and also a graduate of American Commercial College.
