The Jayton high school Jaybirds and Lady Jays competed at the Region I Preview at Mae Simmons in Lubbock Saturday, Sept. 27. The Jaybirds and Lady Jays were the meet champions. Individual medalists for the Lady Jays were Jace Chisum, 1st place, and Maci Scott, 6th place. For the Jaybirds, Sean Stanaland finished in 3rd place, Ben Baldridge in 14th, Tucker Scott in 21st, and Easton Bleiker in 23rd.
