Spur, Patton Springs XC runners compete at Regional

had runners compete at the regional cross country meet at Lubbock Monday. For Patton Springs, Kayson Chandler placed 73th in the girls event and Diezel Ramirez placed 86th in the boys.

Two Gold Star recipients among 2023 Dickens County 4-H honorees

Dickens County 4-H held is annual award ceremony on Tuesday, Oct. 17—the first year to be held in the new 4-H Center. Marie Mullins and Ken and Rita Brendle were honored as Friends of 4-H for their generous donation of the First Baptist Church facility in Dickens to be used as the new 4-H building.
