SPEC’s Operation Round Up to award a minimum of $20,000 in scholarships

South Plains Electric Cooperative’s Operation Round Up will award a minimum of $20k in scholarships to South Plains Electric members. The scholarship is available to high school seniors who are members, spouse or child of a member, legal guardian is a member or landlord is a member.

Mortenson warms community with new coats

contractor Mortenson delivered several dozen new coats of various sizes (lots of coats for small children) to the Spur Food Pantry for distribution to those needing winter warmth. More coats are to be delivered next week Mortenson staff have previously supported the Spur Food Pantry with generous donations of supplies and deliveries.

BUCKI SIGNS

BUCKI SIGNS After appearing at the state track meet for three consecutive years, Spur senior Bucki Smith signed a letter of intent to run track for Lubbock Christian University.
