Bruce Stewart, 60, of Snyder, Texas, died on Wednesday, Oct. 23, 2019, at his home in Snyder.

Bruce was born on May 29, 1959, in Crosbyton, Texas, to Jimmy and Minnie Ola (Ward) Stewart. He married Becky Paulk on Dec. 07, 1990, in Snyder.

Bruce was a unique individual. He loved his wife, his children and their spouses, his grandchildren, his siblings and their spouses, children and grandchildren. He was a lover of Harley Davidson motorcycles and enjoyed riding and rallies. He also loved dogs and horses. He called horses "pre-Harleys.” He may have had a rough exterior, but he had a big heart. Bruce was a Christian man, and he knew who his savior was and that he died on the cross for all of us. Bruce is now cruising the streets of gold. We love you and can't wait to see you again.

He is survived by his wife, Becky Stewart, of Snyder; three daughters: Aaryn Wofford and husband Jamaal, of Honey-grove, Texas; Elizabeth Whitefield and husband Lane, of Snyder; and Charley Stewart, of Lubbock, Texas; two sisters, Teresa Stewart and Deborah Stewart Harris, both of Tuscola, Texas; one brother, Richard Stewart, of Spur, Texas; six grandchildren: Jacob, Eli, Sophia and Olivia Wofford, of Honeygrove; and Lauren and Madison Whitefield, of Snyder.
