Jennette M. (Sawyer) Seaton, 1939–2020

JAYTON—Jennette M, (Sawyer) Seaton, 81 passed away on Tuesday October 27, 2020, at home. Graveside services will be 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 7, 2020. at Hobbs Cemetery.

Born March 20, 1939, in Fisher County, Texas, Jennette was the daughter of the late Frank Hiram and Bertha Sawyer. Jennette married Joe H. Seaton in Rotan on September 2, 1956. They moved to Jayton in 1958. Jennette was a rural mail carrier for more than 40 years.

She is preceded in death by her parents; a son, Joe H. Seaton, Jr.; and a daughter, Judy Annette (Seaton) Birkenfield.

Jennette is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Tim and Teresa Seaton of Saginaw, Texas, and Wes and Tonja Seaton of Jayton; grandchildren Amy Seaton, Ana Seaton, Michael Seaton and his wife, Brina; Samantha Adams and her husband, Phillip; Savanna Cowen; Justin Seaton and his wife, Jessica: Jonathon Seaton and his wife; Laci; Tyler Seaton; and Lane Seaton; a daughterin-law, La Donna Seaton; and numerous great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
