Juddie Adams Holly, 1937–2020

AMARILLO—Juddie Adams Holly, 83, of Amarillo, passed away on Sunday, October 11, 2020, in Amarillo. She was born on March 14, 1937 in Dickens, Texas, to the late Howard Franklin McKnight and Juddie Irene McCarty McKnight. Juddie was married to Clarence Adams, Jr., who preceded her in death on January 5, 1995. She later married Derryl Wayne Holly. He preceded her in death on March 1, 2014. She was a member of Oasis Southwest Baptist Church in Amarillo.

She is survived by three daughters, Jamie Paschall and husband, Jimmy, of Fritch, Texas; Barbara Winningham and husband, James, of Amarillo; and Lenora “Sis” Bohannon and husband, Rodney, of Amarillo; two sons, Jerry Adams and wife, Carla, and Alan Adams and wife, Kim, all of Cleburne, Texas; 19 grandchildren; 54 great-grandchildren; and 16 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one son, Anthony Reed Adams, and two grandchildren, Anthony Adams and Rion Adams.

Visitation was held Wednesday, October 14, 2020, at the La-Grone Blackburn-Shaw Martin Road Chapel from 6 to 8 p.m. Funeral services were 11 a.m. Thursday, October 15, 2020, at the Oasis Southwest Baptist Church with Bradley Speer and Jesse Gillam officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of LaGrone Blackburn-Shaw Funeral Directors.
