Neta Stephens peacefully passed away in her sleep on Sunday, Oct. 12, 2025, at the age of 97. As her eyesight failed, she left her beloved home in Girard and moved to an independent living facility in Boerne, Texas in December 2015 to be closer to her daughter. She enjoyed almost 10 years there. Her Celebration of Life will be December 13, 2025, at the chapel in Girard Cemetery (Kent County, Texas) at 11 a.m.
