Kudos to hospitals and doctors at year-end

A recent article from one of the big daily newspapers cautions us that the one present you don’t want to pass along to your kinfolks this Christmas is any of the various strains of respiratory illness going around—Covid-19, RSV, and the flu. They’re quite literally the gifts that keep on giving.

Correction

In the Spur ISD section of last week’s Letters to Santa, we made a goof—but after checking the pages again, we’re glad to see that it doesn’t appear we left anyone’s letter out!
