Texas Spur Country teachers return to school; students next week

Teachers and staff for Texas Spur Country returned to school this week. Students start back next week. At Spur ISD, staff development began Tuesday, Aug. 9 and runs through Tuesday, Aug. 16. Spur will host Jayton in a football scrimmage, Friday, Aug. 12.

Native son Latham laid to rest in Spur July 28
