DICKENS MAYOR SPUR ISD SCHOOL BOARD STAFF REPORTS The Texas Spur, The Spur Area Chamber of Commerce, and the Dickens County-Spur Public Library have come together to host a Meet the Candidates event Monday, April 21, 2025, from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m.
JAYTON HONORS The Jayton One Act Play company of“Peter and the Starcatcher”competed at the Area meet last week at the Wylie Performing Arts Center in Abilene. They were selected to advance to the Regional meet, which will be April 23-24 at Angelo State University in San Angelo. Awards received were Outstanding Lights Technician, Taylor Schroeder; Honorable Mention All-Star Cast, Jace Chisum; All-Star Cast, Colt Gentry, Dayton Bleiker; Best Performer, Griff Reel. | COURTESY PHOTO
